      That's already an option. You can turn off the ability to fill and spawn blueprints so players can only use shipyards.

      I was building a ship, and realized I really need a functional ladder for vertical personnel movement in tight spaces. It'd be great to have ladders with a detail model now that modeled blocks are in the game.

      This is an example of "frustratingly rare." This was a problem because large amounts of rare materials were needed. If the rare materials were necessary in small quantities for specialized things, they could be very rare indeed without being frustrating.

      Perhaps the gate's power requirement could be a function of distance and the mass it is transporting. It would be easy to make long distance gates for small ships, but harder for large ships.

      Client side pinging noises from debris hitting you would be cool. I don't think an explosion would emit enough gas to make a sound against one's hull though.

      I use Logitech Gaming Software with my gaming mouse. The Automatic Game Detection feature is great for automatically switching control profiles, but it can't detect a running .jar file. With a little info from AndyP , I was able to create a workaround. I assume this will help Razer Synapse users...

      Lukrah asteroids currently make armor tanking nonviable.

      Making certain types of resources more plentiful than others is a viable game mechanic. However, making armor expensive doesn't sound very good. Power (or shields like before) would make sense. Are the other asteroid types good all the way through? I haven't been out mining since the update.
