I built a 5x5 protrusion in front of the core to see if I would still spawn in front of it upon exiting. I didn't. Instead, I spawned on the roof. :-( It seems as if the game is trying its best to prevent me from spawning where I want.

I found the answer myself. When you take two screenshots in VERY fast succession, the first one will always have opaque windows, while the subsequent ones will turn out with translucent windows.

I just made 20 screenshots with identical angle in rapid succession through a glass wall. In 19 of them, the glass was opaque; in 1 (the 16th) it was translucent. Weird...

In some of my screenshots, glass appears translucent, exactly as it is during gameplay. But most times when I take a screenshot, glass will become opaque for a second, and appear like that in the screenshot. How can I ensure that glass stays see-through whenever I want to take a picture?

I can't make heads or tails of it. In one ship, my character spawns in front of the core. In another, he spawns on top of it. In the third, he turns up UNDER the core (and proceeds to fall into the void). Is there some way to force the character to always spawn behind the core when he exits it?
