Just had my favorite Starmade moment. I was cruising around, looking for Pirates (and players, I'm an equal opportunity plunderer). I see a ship next to a store on my radar for a blip, hit the breaks, fly back, and see this awesome ship sitting there, just waiting to be blown up... or captured...

Pre and post-update, I'm taking tons of damage through shields even though I have over 3/4ths of my shields remaining. This has happened before and after the shield changes.

It makes me sad. I don\'t want to fight with big ships because that damage just pops up :\\

With the shield changes I\'m excited for taking lame damage through my shields that don\'t recharge now xd

I\'m ust saying that having a counter to something requires that the counterplay be fun as well. There has to be a way to make small ships useful but not make Capital Ships worthless

The other interesting thing to do would be to make shields need to be in small blocks around the ship to push interesting design There are a ton of ways to fix shields, I don\'t think the massive nerf done was needed lol

I really don\'t care about that, I think it\'s silly that the defense mechanic for this reqiures large ships to not dock so that they can have turrets. Thrust to mass is also difficult to increase at larger levels because it is no longer exponentially scaling, it is only linear scaling. I think...

"You have to be a good pilot to not die now!" "You have to deign ships with turrets to not die now!" Being a good pilot is irrelevant when a ship can accelerate five times as fast as you. Designing with turrets is also quite stupid, because: When you log off, now ships can destroy you...

Yeah, stations aren\'t exactly important ships, now are they? And re-buying plex storage containers doesn\'t magically fill them up again ;)

The work I have done reverts and I lose all the stuff I had. I just lost about 20k worth of L5 minerals, and all my saved up blocks :\

Tried to shoot through doors of my ship after I changed faction, and I couldn't go through the doors at all, I had to destroy everything around it...
