Ok got a random question. How far away will an ai in a turret target and fire on a pirate? If the turret can shoot a distance of 1900 will it be able to utilize the range?

I\'m talking about a new debth to the game. Not just making a cool ship to destroy for no real purpose. Pirates are fine right now. This is a new mob with unique characteristics and theme.

Torpedos?.... Really?... And a new high upkeep complex weapon system is not for me. Ship speed thing is cool but nothin new. What I would really want to see is a somewhat boss/ storyline. Kinda like ender dragon. An alien faction with unique weapons and ships.

I still think a massive hexagon sphere would be best... But it sounds like they are sticking with the oreo or double oreo shape.

Cores, pretty cool but may be more trouble than its worth. But Idk how making a game work. :). But the weapons they have are fine! I dont think phasers would be much differnt than how AMCs will end up. If they refine AMCs to have firing options like rapid, cannon, or beam then there...

Hexagon spheres. each hexagon could have its own gravity and orentation. and gives the option to make the worlds closer to a decent size rather than how it is now.

thats a good point. lol. Im really into having bigger planets, but that would be a big project i imagine.

Maybe already suggested but. 1. wiring. Redstone is a big part of what makes minecraft so fun. possibilities can be great if done right. 2. Fast travel. like placing a stargate (just and example) at your home fleet location, and have ships be able to open a portal to return home...
