Ok got a random question. How far away will an ai in a turret target and fire on a pirate? If the turret can shoot a distance of 1900 will it be able to utilize the range?

Thats wanst helpful but i finally tested it, it does work! i made a 5000 AMC cannon and it processed and destroyed targets as far as i could see them. i set the distance to 2500 feet and as long as i could see and target it in the same sector it fired perfectly. And now i am working on a sniper ship. should be fun
