Maybe already suggested but.
1. wiring. Redstone is a big part of what makes minecraft so fun. possibilities can be great if done right.
2. Fast travel. like placing a stargate (just and example) at your home fleet location, and have ships be able to open a portal to return home. Its way too easy to get lost in an infinite universe...
3. (this one is probably said a lot) closer to actual size planets. I know making a round planet work is almost impossible. but the way they are now is kinda sad. but if you reduce the number of planets, and make massive hexagon sphere planets. making each hexagon plate (could be called sectors) have its own gravity and orientation. that maybe could work? idk much about game making but its an idea.
