There's already ships in community content labeled as stating resource ships.
Seriously, you get just one opinion that disagrees with yours a little bit and you disrespect the entire community.
Early small-scale transformer
Shuttlebug
Civilian-class at best, somewhat interesting mechanism; Shuttlebug v4
Concept prototype light transforming mech
Bullfrog
The Bullfrog functioned well but was flawed in that it's wings could not be folded for hanger storage. Even if they could...
I didn't see any mention of thrust to mass so far. The space required for enough thrusters for a fast ship is significant and I find it's easy to let speed end up as a dump stat after building large weapon systems and shield banks ect. As for an optimal thrust to mass to aim for, 'faster then...
One trick is to tell 'em stories that don't go anywhere - like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the...
So?
Why do you snip the relevant point out of peoples' responses and respond only to inconsequential details? You cannot dodge the fact that nobody wants limits imposed on them and you have no reasons to do so that have been satisfactory so far. This is the main counter-point to the...
If it's not a rule there's no point, suggestions carry no weight either and reasoned wisdom is an opinionated and subjective claim.
^ That was rambling.
You guess wrong and comprehend worse or you are being purposely obtuse. I won't explain it to you because it would steal your freedom to be...
Rules about what you can make public =/= free, unhampered
The products are a means of communication.
You didn't adress why anyone should be entitled to be hidden from the fact that they are not as good as they think they are at the cost of the smarter peoples' freedoms.
So folks who publish their min-maxing results for everyone's benefit are hurting the feelings of plebs? Modifying someone else's great ship is too frustrating and not satisfying enough for people who don't know what they are doing?
Fuck their feelings, it's someone else's content and anyone...
Loosly skimmed the proceding text and was reminded of a game's missile where a single missle was dumb fired then at a set range it split into five or so missiles that independantly locked on the the nearest targets and spread out.
At only 4 sec cycle time the reactors would be in power failure for 1 sec then charge for 3 sec so 75% reactor efficiency no? I can't remember power supply's efficiency though.
Beam length is constant and starts from the block selected as output. With two salvage tubes one in front of another I set the front block of the rear tube and the rear block of the front tube as output so the far ends of the beams are only one or two blocks different in length and when you...
You're missing the best option IMO where the second (offset) salvage checkerboard is behind the first and connected to the same computer so you use every position and fire all at once without logic.
I never need the full range of the salvage beams so I select the rear blocks of the front array...
