I like the idea of the docecahedron planets, but I feel that they could be executed on a higher level. In truth I think that the future lies with planets without plates or with seamless plates, take that in whatever way you wish.

I think your reasoning behind this is very well thought out: +1 I also think that this may help with the ai spinning so much. Instead of spinning to target an entity, this suggestion may help with them actually seeking out targets and utilyzing more natural movement.

Same, I wonder if in later updates we will get wandering fleets from both the major and procedurally generated factions. I don't think it's feasible for every system in the game to be claimed, but I also don't think that unclaimed sectors should be empty of ships or stations.

How will NPC spawning work in non claimed sectors? Just curious after I wandered into some Isanths a little unexpectedly.

Bruh... The devs don't have to respond to negative posts... They could just let you be mad, alone, instead of trying to explain themselves. I'd take that as involvement any day [caring about and addressing the concerns of players].

Funny, but not quite helpful. I don't travel with a mouse, plus that requires a table. After editing that line in the cfg file a couple times to no avail I'm getting ever more confused as to how I can fix it. AndyP Any thoughts?

I haven't been able to play for about a month or two, and now that I have some time to play I log on and my trackpad sensitivity while scrolling is NUTS [I play on a 2013 MacBook Pro w/retina]. I think that in one of the recent updates something may have gotten a little wonky in the settings.cfg...

Any hints on a particular shape?? I'm dyin' over here :-p

Thanks for doing all of the performance updates! I can now run the game on my macbook without the fan even turning on!!

Maybe if it didn't degrade blocks themselves it would be more effective. Perhaps if the efficiency of very large systems was decreased without input of a certain type it would be better. This wouldn't have to be a bunch of different systems, but just one per ship.

Hello again! With this update the fleet is really starting to take shape!! From the top you can see the Assault Corvette above the Frigate, and beneath the frigate, from left to right, is a compact vertical dropship concept followed by what I will refit into a fighter and a bomber/heavy fighter...

Keep in mind that the developers are currently working on a new spawn station, which will function as the trading guild "capital," or something like that. Perhaps eventually we may get the option to start as members of different factions from the beginning of the game at that faction's capital...

I think that a mix of both graveyards and overheating cores would be best. It wouldn't be very fun if a bunch of drone cores were left on the map as a graveyard. I do like the idea of some ships sticking around after a battle though, it would be quite immersive. In response to people salvaging...
