      3 turrets each side(6 sided shape) is enough, try to cut down on logic doors and ramps aswell. Most players on my server would fit in the 20-30 mark

      1000+ turrets, welcome to lag heaven. Best way to bring them in is build a tray and put 5+ turrets on it and blueprint them in. Will be easier with admin commands/singleplayer. Fly the tray to the ship and have friends undock/dock to the ship, repeat

      These ships have PvP in mind, my PD are a little larger than the norm/pve versions. They have shotgun and 60%ams built in a 360 spin turret that looks like a little rocket pod. Currently the destroyer has 4, im getting my fight count up and looking for weaknesses

      We were going to be given a heat block when they upgraded the sun to heatseeker missiles. I wish shields aided in the defense or even a better warning like a countdown with an alert sound! Currently its just a 20sec warning box that appears for 2secs where the server autosave notice appears...
