I think highly of devs of this game and entire project itself.
I have not been playing game much for reasons listed in thread ,yet i care enough to regularly check news and progress years after testing it out- that in itself sais much about my high expectations for it.
All it takes is adding (or modifying existing) resource to recept for weapons and shields.
Then making this resource only spawn in single sector of entire galaxy, and making that specific sector visible on minimap for everyone to know where it is.
Receipes, conditions to spawn resources...
YEa the problem is they are not on a road to realizing that great potential.They are in a loop of never ending remaking already existing features in pursuit of imagined perfection, and whenever they face some imperfection they scrap previous work and start new sub-project which they wil...
After five years of alpha they lost the right to make that argument.
They practically started to completely redo systems that were already in place, and whole point in having players in alpha is so they point out
that shine is running circles after its own tail.
It is high time to get shit done...
YEa the half baked NPC factions not abl to pose any threat to anyone and not doing anything was the hope something is going to change.
And they forsake working on those to work on systems that only change ways ships are being built, not adding any actual uses to ships, after you are able to kill...

Idea is great and it would be much better then current system HOWEVER:
you are yet again deviating from adressing main problem in the game which is - there is absolutely nothign to do but building.And you are yet agains restarting features to more building.
You need to start adding stuff to do...

I spent like 30 minutes today helping one guy get his ship that was moving after he died in sun.

At some point i saw starmade added battlemode, which was suposed to alow players to be teleported to a zone with their current ship, and fight eachother withoiut actioly loosing ships.

Sure, but on most server it is set so its basicaly imposible to ru out of faction points unintentionaly.
What im asking isif on this server its going to be set up to forvce players out of this immortal, indestructible base. else piracy is just not posible.
Will there be a way to make homebases vulnerable ( like realisticaly) to make pvp entertaining. or like i saw on a different server where turrets were not allowed on homebases to make atacking bases more posible ?

I was building my first ship requiring around 3M power regen.
I did this " optimal cube shape schematichs with some corners disconected to only make frames of each dimention filled with cubes.
I do it by making all corners connected and than removing those corners that should be disconnected...

When structure tab sais missile does 1000 damage, what does it realy mean?
Is 1000 damamge divided by every potentialy hit cube?( whole radius)
