      I want to see this... My Corvettes have a small Battle Mode switch and if BOBBY AI could automatically trigger this it would be neat. Likewise if, with the new rail system, I could get turrets to deploy on a drone or something when it sees an enemy. Would look amazing.

In most games (MMOs particularly) with chat channels, you simply have tabs or a menu to switch between channels within one mini-window that stays open all the time, and I rather like that solution.       It did last time I tried it, but then again that was ages ago. Piercing beams are intended to be for my Iali ships, and I've been so busy building Aethi ships that I've never even tried non-Aethi-style weapons since the weapons-update prebuilds.

      ...And Piercing, and Push, and Pull... Even Explosive with beams has its uses sometimes. (Cannon+Beam+any effect is fun with large enough modules.)

      Uh, for me, having to continually fire forward thrusters to maintain speed feels awkward and ridiculous when I'm not braking. I kind of expect my object in motion to remain in motion until I decide to apply another force to it, whether that be my autobraking or manual direction-of-motion...
