      Not even necessary; just build a big rail panel in the hull that slides away when you need to pop in a new reactor. Or, hell, build a not-big panel. Just have it slide away and create enough space to shove a docker beam through. The reactor just teleports in that way.

      Yeah, I suppose so; it's kind of like the doomcube thing. But if, say, crew members had to get between the core and something else, then that might make it extremely inconvenient to do that sort of thing except maybe by hand as a last-minute barricade during a battle.

      This... is a really closed-minded argument. StarMade is still in alpha and honestly, it hasn't yet decided which direction it's going in. As to the actual suggestion, maybe. The only problem is that, as the OP said, this would effectively be a buff to bigger ships, which have more space to hide...

      That would be cool but cannot and will not work.. There's no stably orbiting a dodecahedronal tiled gravity field, at least with the way gravity currently works. You always gain more speed than gravity allows for and go flying off into extraorbital space..

      Yes, most players cry because necessary game mechanics to comfortably play without it don't exist. I like it, personally, but nobody wants to lose a ship because of a glitch sending it floating away randomly. There needs to be some way for ships to automatically stop if there's nobody in them...
