      Yeah, I'm aware of the issues involved with keeping planets loaded via world anchor (or AFKer, lol) which is why I didn't suggest using a ChickenChunks-style sector anchor, which was the first thing that occurred to me. There's a solution in here somewhere, but I don't know what it is. :\

      Yeah, one little problem - as Keptick said in chat just a few minutes ago, once there's nobody nearby the sector unloads and the extractor stops until someone loads up the sector again. :\

      Half blocks, half slopes, half corners, half tetras, and half pentas would be good, but unless we get that (necessary) fourth byte then I don't think it's going to be practical to add those in every single hull color and type.
