      If I remember correctly this issue was discussed in that large Q&A they did a few months back. I think the idea is for ships to have a health value based on it's makeup. Ships will be disabled when a percentage of their HP is lost, and they may even have malfunctions when damaged.

      The only ship I know of that had a weapons computer on the bridge that was actually connected to the weapons is the Shortsword Gunboat. I had to move the core with Smedit and when I did that it connected every AMC to every computer, so all three computers could fire the guns.

      Just having turrets attack other turrets actually goes a long way to prevent core drilling. It does not stop it sure, but it helps.

      Yeah turrets are really buggy now, I looked when I was in combat once and half my turrets were upside down in the ship. I lost most my my turrets in that fight too but not to enemy fire, my turrets were shooting themselves. There was obviously missile damage and my opponent wasn't using missiles.

      Actually all the weapon computers are always in the core room. I use computers for displays on the bridge but they are never connected to anything.

      The Blizzard is a work of art, while I can't even look at the Concord without hurting my eyes. If you make a gunbox,warcube,battlebox sure you can defeat larger ships that are not built solely for combat.

      The world model is bugged in at least one orientation. There are quite a few graphical bugs that still need to be squashed with these new blocks. The new blocks still do not interact with shadows properly as well as sometimes having invisible sides or making a block next to them see through.
