Any chance these new textures will have a modified regular hull? It's still my biggest gripe in "realistic" but I've been unsuccessful creating a modified texture I like.
Also I love the new textures so far and I'll have a new PC by the time it will be released so I'm really looking forward to...
We do need a better default setting. As it stands AI is only accurate out to 10 meters and that is far too short. Play with the setting, see what works well.

Missile radius has a max size, which can be expanded by adding explosive effects to your weapons. The max size also differs between missile types. The Hulk missile radius is like 20

If they added a weapon that could ignore shields regardless of the cost it would be OP. Why use any other conventional weapons when you can just throw on the shield ignoring one and just destroy your target no matter how strong the shields are?

Personally I don't like how turret spam looks, a wall of guns all pointed at each other in most cases. I do have a lot of turrets ranging in sizes and I cover my ships best as possible while still leaving "lines of fire"

I am saying a fighter in theory should be able to take the shields down on a capital. The problem comes up is you will never be able to defeat the turrets our out gun the main guns. The shields would be incredibly strong and while you could bring them down, it would take forever, perhaps even...
