They are quite common and very large, the damage was a nice touch and it is a really cool station don't get me wrong, I just don't think it fit's in with the others and the general feel of the game... Just my opinion anyway.

I just settle on the first planet I find when I start a survival universe. Set it up as my home base and take control of the system so I get the mining bonus, you'll have enough ore and shards to start building in no time.

I don't think anything with the IDs would have to change, just the way the multitasks are handled and have them pull from a single resource count. This is a change I support as it's kind of a feature I though was going to original be part of the multitask system.
That's a shield, we already have shields. The point of having individual blocks that can be destroyed is the fact that individual blocks can be destroyed. Having anything other than shields stopping a block from being killed when it takes damage is pointless. I'm all for a bonus is armor...
