      Sniper effects should come with a removal or mitigation of damage loss; other things should get a range buff but have the damage diminish with distance after a certain threshold - beams especially.

      I really want standard-issue energy beam staves for Aethi Imperial forces, so I support this sort of suggestion to the bitter end. I fail to see why block-based weaponry cannot be made to work with sufficient limits so that the weapons don't look horrible on the character model.

      You have to remember that, at the moment, there is no immersive way of constructing a station from a blueprint... Do you really want to be able to sit in a sector and watch a freighter fly in and then a station poof out of nowhere? I'm sure that, when a better system is added, realtime NPC...

      Will our fleets be able to locate and go after enemies who are within scanner range of them? It is kind of hard to defend a system with fleets if the fleets can't detect enemies beyond their own loading range.

      Real-time simulation at this scale is impossible. Just saying... Being able to send fleets to attack AI factions will be a thing, but the combat will be simulated based on the stats of the ships involved.

      Tak Star Logistics should be its own faction, using the Tak ships currently designed for the TG for hauling but with a different paint job, along with armor-tanking converted freighters for defense (Mostly because I love the idea of conversion-kit ships for some reason), and a bunch of stations...
