I do believe armor and hp values will get a balance pass over once the HP system is underway/implemented. These numbers do look good though but it may render some weapons useless as lower damage weapons are incapable of even scratching the faction block. If armor were similarly resilient then...
Just about everybody has a big, large, asteroid and planet eating salvagers but not many that you can acquire quickly and give you the ability to harvest the materials needed for a larger ship.
This is a build challenge not a contest so no prizes or votes for a winner. This is just for fun...
So I was tired of the Isanth Fleet being out of date so I decided to refit them. Isanths are supposed to be fairly weak so they have not been buffed at all, mostly I've just given them the ability to regenerate shields and a few weapon tweaks.
Change Log:
All ships have had their computers...
This would be a good way to link the hotbar with logic. Having logic blocks show up in the weapons tab would be extremely confusing so we will need a way to differentiate between logic blocks we need to have access to in the weapons tab.
I'm thinking dangerous anomalies, nebula's, hostile space fairing creatures would all be a better fit for the void, the void being populated sure does make it less of a void.
Good place for those space wales to live.
I crossed galaxies once... it took forever and just sucked... pirate stations makes it easier, something to do on the way. Take a break, blow one up.
Personally I would rather see some other danger between galaxies. Just having a ton of pirate stations doesn't seem that dangerous, and doesn't make sense that there would be that much out there. Hell, I would much rather have an empty void and no danger over a spam of pirate stations.
Love the new animations and the new Damage Texture... OMG Finally! This is probably my one last complaint with the current default textures. The current damage overlay looks far to much like lava and I welcome any change, it already looks good and I'm sure it will look even better before release.
We need a lot of new settings for turrets, and the ability to select multiples.
Any
Missiles
Selected Target (Any)
Selected Target (Hostile)
Astronauts
Harvest
Repair
Support
If you select "Any" as well as "Selected Target" the turrets will auto fire when no valid target is selected but if...
You used to have to use Smedit to move a core if it was placed wrong, although I'm not sure if there is a working version anymore. Your best bet is to have a creative universe with an unlimited shop and large advance build mode selection size. Parts of your ship can be copied and pasted around...
There is no need to put jammers on turrets, and AI won't even use them. Turrets will however inherit cloak and jamming effects from the mother ship. Jammers also don't make pirates completely ignore you but makes them less accurate when attacking.
There is currently no way to separate the ships that the trade guild use from the pirates. I hope we eventually get the ability to add whatever AI factions we want to the game. I would love to see warring factions with their own territory and ships.
That is how it used to be, beam slaves now add damage as well as range and projectile speed, while adjusting the fire rate to match. Higher ratio sniper missiles now take a lot more energy so you'll need more power tanks to compensate.
I've always considered the Isanth an armed freighter over a fighter or corvette. The trade guild uses them, and I imagine the pirates steal them from the trade guild. They have quite a bit of interior space to store cargo as well.
I would suggest providing an actual link to what you are requesting to be built. LMGTFY links are typically used when insulting somebody because they ask simple questions that could easily be answered by looking it up themselves.
All you need to get lock on missiles is the computer. It will have exactly the same stats as a dumb fire missile but have the tracking ability. Adding beam modules will increase the speed and damage while decreasing the fire rate.
I select the level of hull by pushing one of three buttons on the front of the machine. The machine has a series of chests that it filters items through in order to do the error checking. You never have to interact with the factories, when the items pass through the chest error system filter...
