Jammers do nothing against lock on missiles but they will save you from cannon and beams because AI can still lock on you when you are jammed but they take a huge accuracy penalty, which doesn't effect tracking missiles.
A simple overlay block that will "stick" to the side of another block and allow us to draw whatever we want... Not sure if that would work code wise but you would be able to have any lettering you wanted as well as other graphics. Of course this could be abused if players are lewd with it...
The problem with this is if you are far enough away (not even that far) the display disappears. Some way to make it sprite based but not take up a ton of IDs would be the best option I believe.
I also want to see flares designed specifically for defense against heat seekers. Radar jammer protects against "radar guided" missiles such as beam and pulse missiles and flares are used to distract heat seekers.
Every Letter and Number for Every Hull Color would be a LOT of block IDs. Unless it is a sprite that can be placed on the surface of a block. You would probably need at least two sets, white and black, which would still be a LOT of ids
I do think we need to make planets more useful to discourage salvaging not just punishing players who do salvage them up. Further optimizations should help with the lag issues.

I think they are still bugged. In one of the updates in build mode I could always see them, even when in build mode from another ship or when the hud was hidden which used to hide them.
I really want to see nebula that interfere/boost certain systems. Energy or shield dampening nebula. Imagine a faction living in a shield dampening nebula building armor tank ships, they would have a significant home field advantage.
Yes the Conflagration and Wildfire have a clock that fires a set of swarms every half a second.
The logic on the hammer controls the animated hanger doors.
