      You're definitely getting better. Looks like you're getting a better hang at non-shoebox shapes (looking at gen4). Tbh, the thing that's the most lacking is surface detail. You should start out with flat armor plates, it's pretty simple to do, and generally adds a lot to builds.

      Turret AI settings save with blueprints. So for example, turrets set to "anti-missile" will be saved with the blueprint, and be set to anti-missile automatically when the ship is spawned.       Honestly, that's an edge case scenario that would be better enforced by server rules. Screwing over everyone that wants to make cool animated stuff on the OFF CHANCE of an asshole using it to screw up a server (which is much easier to do by ramming a planet fyi), is just bad game design...
