I've always hated the idea of ships and stations just POOFing from a tiny little blueprint item so I am all for requiring construction ships in order to spawn in stations and ships too large for shipyards.
I still don't get the correlation between medic and repair.
As for the astro beam they really have been made obsolete by the ship yards, even simply giving them the ability to repair multiple blocks and penetrate hulls will not make them even remotely close to what shipyards are capable of. So...
I like the jump ideas but not the Missile + Jump as you can't add a weapon combo to the game that is literally a better version of one we already have without any downsides. Beam and Pulse slave do almost the same thing but there is a trade off.

This seems like it would just lead to waffleguns. The original cannons had higher DPS if you used many small guns instead of joining them. I do agree small ship combat feels a little weak at this point but just buffing the guns on only small ships probably won't be a good solution.
Not to mention the HP update had a major impact on the maneuverability of almost all ships in existence as the three hull types now have different weights.
More decorative medical implements? I hope we get some animated stat monitors

Add invisible air block that doesn't block a player from being able to interact with things, if any air block is hit by weapons it will deactivate all air blocks that are touching making them un viable to support life. If a door is opened check to see if air blocks exist on both sides, if not...
Radar does seem like another one that should be effected volume instead of by mass, why should a heavy small ship be harder to hide than a lighter weight larger ship?
I think I'll copy those settings. I have 16 GB but all my settings are lower... I did have problems in the past setting it to high so I did low ball them for that reason but come to think of it, that may have been my old PC
Asteroids in belts should spawn and despawn and respawn naturally as if to simulate the rocks moving around/orbiting whatever. You never know what you'll get the when you jump into the system. Adjust the time it takes to respawn new ones to encourage travel.
I had an idea once for the addition of power computers. They would do one thing, increase the softcap on power. This way larger ships can be created that do not always have to rely on docked reactors but they would still be weak points. Taking one out on a large ship could cripple that ships...
I think this is will be the final design of my standard auto-cannon. I made it a little longer to give the back some negative space and that upped the damage a little. Of course it has next to nothing for shields and power so it will rely on the mother-ship. Next step is to create a self...
