Nope, rockets just suck. 200 damage is essentially 100 damage on direct hit with the new explosion system, and that's even less if it does something like hit the ground 2 blocks away or so.

There was a suggestion for docked entities to stay aligned to the main ship (like astronauts) for a bit after undocking, so that things like launching drones or fleeing in an escape pod mid battle don't cause a horrible, collision filled mess.

You can already do this with some trickery via rotors, but it'd be nice to not need to do chaindocks just to dock a turret at a 45* angle. You can already do something similar by using a push beam to launch things right after undocking them.

So, according to Lancake, area triggers colliding with weapons is going to be fixed at some point in the future. When they do this, though, they REALLY need to remember to make area triggers give zero structure HP, or you'll be able to make your ship somewhat invincible by surrounding it in a...

Is it possible to modify handheld weapons? I thought it was possible to give custom damage, change the projectile, projectile color, etc, but I can't find anything on how to actually do that. Also, is it possible to give the sniper zoom ability to other weapons, or is that hardcoded?

Currently we're looking at putting it inside a ship's interior for more close combat. The next game may be FFA instead of TDM, haven't decided yet. Maybe we should have a poll on it? We may also have customized infantry weapons, if we can figure out how to do that. It's technically possible, but...
