      Toggle Displays Like Rails

Point in brute force is that it would piggyback on a system that is already in place, and wouldn't require extensive new coding to make it happen. And it would take a massive amount of rails and logic to try and create a conveyor belt system to slowly move cores around simply to move a monitor...

Allow Replace Command to Mirror Blocks

Yeah, the template system is, quite frankly, broken beyond all hopes of repair in my book. It is just FAR too cumbersome to actually use in any real manner. Even on my server where we've got the build area cranked up to 40x40x40, trying to copy and line back up all those chunks would be a...

      Toggle Displays Like Rails

Yup, the backs of monitors look a great deal like grey hull pieces... You could literally line the floors in display butts. Heck, you wouldn't be lining the floors in display butts, the floors would BE the display butts!

      Storage: Set Pull to Contents

Ah, see, how I currently do my sorting setup is that I start out with the most common stuff and set pulls for that. Then I have a chest down by the docking area linked to my master inbox in the sorting room. When I come back from mining or pirate farming, I unload all the boxes from the ship...

      Having Problems With Rails

Okay, to be brief, I cannot seem to make a rail move in three dimensions. I've watched Bench's video, as far as I can tell I've done what he's done, and it just doesn't work. Forwards and backwards, change to side to side, thats fine. As soon as I try to get it to go up, it just hits the wall...

      Mute command

Ha, I saw mute and went "Wait, what in the world is actually making a sound you'd want to mute in the first place?", but you mean you want to squelch other players. Yes, I'd appreciate this ability as well. Individual /ignore lists for everybody, and an admin command to simply turn off...

Allow Replace Command to Mirror Blocks

Common Scenario (for me at least): Get to work on a big ship, work on one side for half an hour, get everything perfect, zoom out... and realize you forgot to turn on mirror mode. There's no way to easily mirror what you just did, so you go back and start deleting and replacing the blocks you...

      Storage: Set Pull to Contents

That still requires us to scroll through everything looking for just what we want. Yeah, its broken up a bit more so we only have to search through subsections, but its still something we have to manually think of every single block we want to go into the box before we can do it. If we forget...

Rail Door Keypad Lock Logic (Provided)

Wait, I think I got part of the reset logic wrong in that last picture... Its not really important logically, just I think I connected the wrong buttons into the digit resets, and I don't wan to redo the entire picture from scratch just to fix it. But basic idea is correct.

Rail Door Keypad Lock Logic (Provided)

Well an external button means somebody has to stop what they're doing and go let people out, and thats just a pain in the ass to everybody else thats on. For a spawn lock, it's only real purpose is to get people to go read the rules. A display next to the keypad even points them back to the...

      Toggle Displays Like Rails

The rail system lets us use logic to basically hotswap blocks out, change one one block into another at will. Can we make this apply to display monitors as well? In my capitol ship, I have a big main viewscreen made of displays that the original plan was to just draw some ASCII stars and...

      Logic help

Yes, put an activator touching the rail that you are using for your docking block. Any time something is connected to that block, the activator will be on. Whenever something leaves, it will turn off. Tie your lights into that activation block.

Rail Door Keypad Lock Logic (Provided)

Well like I said, if someone really wants to brute force it they can. Ends up being a lot more logic to try and have it reset with a wrong button press, but you could simply enhance it to a full 10 digit pad and use only a single delay for a half second window. This was built for a spawn...

      Need help on new turrets.

Pretty sure you only need the AI touching the weapon computers, and you need to make sure you have dragged the weapon computer down onto the ship's hotbar.

Rail Door Keypad Lock Logic (Provided)

I'm building the new spawn station for our server, and the admin requested that I ensure that new players have to read the rules before they can enter the universe. So, I came up with a rail based door that requires the player to punch in a correct sequence on a keypad to open it, and put the...

      Improve Core Thrust

So don't give it the free power, just give it the thrust it would have if it had the 1 thruster and the block to power it. I mean, just what kind of ship are we talking about where the presence or absence of 1 lousy thruster's worth is a make or break deal?

      Improve Core Thrust

Can we please just simply give core blocks more thrust? I mean, is there anyone here that doesn't drop a core to get around in that doesn't immediately stop and add a power generator and a thruster block to it to make the classic 3 block pod? If we're going to continue on the course of having...
