Read by Council Explosions (with the new plume effect)

-le sigh- The reason the ship should be what sets the glow color is very simple. The ship is (in theory) made of metal, which is now glowing/on fire. Not all metals burn the same color. Should the projectile contribute it's own color for a few seconds? (maybe 10 or so) sure! but after that...

a collection of a mad man

Wow, I knew that thing was ginourmous, but I somehow hadn't realized the great golden eagle statue was effectively a hood-ornament. The eagle is so tiny in that side-shot.

      Blueprints : simple GUI QOL

Mostly because the game doesn't read sub-folders. Trying to make it read sub-folders would be a much more intense project than adding a simple versioning system Because all "ships" in the game are folders. (yes, .sment is just a compressed folder that the game can read)

Please also contribute on GoG !

Huh, I'm guessing this is a state/country thing, as My bank-card is a credit-card. More accurately, it is a Debit/Credit card powered by one of the big credit-card companies over here in the USA. As such, most places that "want" a credit card, I can simply punch in my bank card, and tell them...

      Blueprints : simple GUI QOL

I like it, and agree that we could use such a QoL improvement. But, and this is fairly important: What Prefix would be applied, if any? Realistically, I'd presume this to be up to the user, and that the new feature would merely tack on the number, but here we go, for discussion's sake...

Skylord Worlds: all my Projects,Stations,Skins and Procedural faction ships list

Most likely answer is an alternate texture pack. ( I think he mentioned using one once, but I can't recall when or where)

      Mobs

Which old stations? I know someone did a sector export of the type of station the spiders were in (and thus, the spiders would spawn), but I've never seen one generate in-game no matter what I did to the files. (singleplayer) (y'know, the bigger one with 4 hangars and an upper dome) On the...

      Variable Power Consumption from Jammers

Huh, I had allways assumed that the fluctuation you're noticing was due to the ever-present client-to-server-to-client lag, and the player's GUI "updating" itself with what it expects, then being overriden by what the server tells it. Well, untill it hits 0 on the GUI, then everything stops for...

      Station Discovery

Worse, Station Discovery is absurdly slow to update. I once rammed into a Pirate Eta in singleplayer. Took the game 30 minutes after I jumped away to realize "oh, carp, that's a filthy pirate station" Both discovery range (needing to be in the station's sector) and the update time need fixing.

      Stealing Npc Ships

That's something very new then, as that wasn't the case when I last did that. Thank you for letting me know. Actually, I did, in fact, do that. After I cut out the faction module, because at the time a wrong-factioned ship couldn't be docked to the shipyard anchor of a homebase. (infinite...

      Stealing Npc Ships

... I'd completely forgotten about unfactioned logic weapons. (I habitually put a factiom module on everything I build, so it just slipped my mind) Warheads are often slow (default settings don't do much damage), and equally often absurdly damaging to everything around the faction module...

      More Generated Planet Structures

You may need to monkey around with the settings, they're annoyingly low by default. The line to change is this one in Server.cfg : PLANET_SPECIAL_REGION_PROBABILITY = 240 //one out of this Value chance of a special region spawning per planet plate (cities, pyramids, etc) (changing this value...

      Bug NullPointerException: Null

Could you perhaps screenshot the error message too? (oddly, a funky error message may actually be more usefull than the log, even though the devs will want the log too.)

Faction block in hotbar acts as transponder

You would think they would, but most actually don't. That would allso require the server log to actually log the transponder state, instead of simply using it.

Faction block in hotbar acts as transponder

Ah, but that's the rub, if They (assholes) declare war, then they're "picking on the small fry" and get an admin's attention/intervention. If, however, They (assholes) get declared war upon, as result of being shot? Then the small fry was begging for a whippin'. That sort of malicious abuse...

Faction block in hotbar acts as transponder

So, basically, this is a Role-play feature. One that I actually love the concept of. One that is (unfortunately) horrifyingly easy for a griefer (asshole, by a "friendly" name) to abuse to their benefit. Even though I normally campaign for role-play features, the ease with which this can be...

      More Generated Planet Structures

They both are/are not missing their roofs. They literally generated upside-down, because someone (I don't know who, don't ask) inverted the height-coordinate, and Schine refused to correct it when it was pointed out the first dozen times. Heck, the "best" generation screw-up I ever saw, was...

      Weapon Names/Text

Eh, agreed. I've had to do test-firings on some of my own older ships, because I forgot which of two same-sized missiles was the decoy swarm. EDIT: and, in one memorable example, I'd forgotten that the much bigger Cannon/Pulse/Overdrive weapon was actually the paint-stripper array, and not the...

      Inter Ship Remote

Just chiming in to say that YES, we do need a proper remote for out-of-ship actions. And that the existing name is not confusing at all, once you remember the opposite word from Inner: ... Outer. As in, the Inner-Ship remote controls things Inside the ship, and the Outer-Ship remote would...

Layered Building - like alternative dimensions

In practice? yes/no. Yes, it "doubles" the ship's data/memory size, because even a Core-only ship "tracks" the emptyness of the other layers. (to be fair, that's the most-likely "doubling" scenario, but not the only one.) No, in that it will only add a tiny portion for ships not actually using...
