      General gameplay suggestions

      Ok I read all this and I dislike it.There are too much too limiting things that (additionally)all have been suggested before except the heat capabilty. I would love to see more Sci-Fi weapons but with apropriate names and without ammo. The heat system could be great and already limit guns...

      I just imagined what this means for solar bases (you can cover the sun since it is only 1 block big and stop it from causing damage) With pistons you could releash the fire of the gods upon your enemies or cover the sun to allow your turrets to do Buisiness.

      Nice suggestions you bring up but when tinking over it I dont really get how you want to prevent that people use scatterguns since you basically just have to dig a 1 block thick hole in your enemys ship (even with the 99% accuracy you suggest this will still work) Increasing the stacking bonus...

      A pause function.

      actually pausing the game isnt this big problem schema just has to add an pause command for the server which either stops AI or everything and bind it to the singleplayer menu.... Overriding some events doesnt seems to be a big problem to me and it wouldnt change the way the game gets started...

      Just as suggestion,what about just adding an computer for every device and giving it a radar signature? There already are weapons computers why not thruster computers and energy computers? If the computers wouldnt be build directly around the ship core you would have something different to aim...

      An improvement for Planets

      I think the fist step to do would be adding actual NPCs because buildings on planets don´t let them look less empty,they kinda just remind you that you are alone. It is a long way until then and other issues should be adressed first (Balance,FTL,Planet Shapes and so on)
