      I would just /search "name of the ship" and then protect that sector it returns with /sector_chmod x y z + protected that will protect your ship and yourself from heat damage. Afterwards just TP the ship out.

But once you go past a certain damage threshold, with piercing effect blocks (armor HP damage/armor efficiency/extra block damage) you should be able to kill armor really fast, possibly with your first damage tick.       That's true but if you power drain + shield drain, their turrets won't be protected by its mothership's shield and will be easier to kill.

      That is indeed the case, put it on 100% and it will absorb everything till it runs out. I believe this is auto capped if you go beyond it, even with a defensive effect to prevent exploiting (you would heal your armor HP otherwise by taking hits).       It is mass last time I checked, and it should be too :) This makes effects easier to use on less armored ships but yes, reworking your ships isn't fun :(

      it should use mass, I assume the one in the menu is using the wrong number then (block count/10) We only test on a server, I checked on the test server and it was fine for me. Can you PM me the details about this issue? perhaps a screenshot or 2 to help?

      Issue 1 could be considered as a bug but it's probably related to issue 2, since AI does not disable when overheating (a bug) which also prevents them from being salvaged.       I can think of more ways to prevent people from entering my ship. But if you really want to board anyone, you should let a buddy of you power drain their ship to 0. They can't use weapons if they don't have power ;)

      Advanced armor can have 4000 EHP each while standard is 1600 and basic is 300. In my eyes its mass is totally justified. Edit: besides it's known that thrust is going to be reworked at some point, so who knows how much mass will change the core movement mechanics.

      Because then advanced armor is too overpowered. It makes it less punishing to use basic and standard armor. Keep in mind that the block EHP of advanced armor is still extremely high compared to the other blocks. Can't make advanced armor too special :)

      You used to not be able to dock anything on asteroids. Recently that changed but an old check is still in place, preventing you from doing that. It's a bug and else they would disable you from placing rail blocks on asteroids in the first place.

      Then I don't really know. Singleplayer is like hosting your own server, and also playing on it so it can be more demanding on your PC since you have to run 2 things at once. It's most likely your CPU spiking which should only happen near planets if you have to generate them.
