      Well, it seems I healed your ship. ;) But you should try to build a new ship a check if the problem resurfaces, just a few blocks with some five block turrets.

      What's the version number of your installation? Just to make sure we use the same version.

      If I redock a turret on your ship, it's fine and remains that way after restarting the game. Maybe it's a problem with your installation. If that's the case reinstalling the game in a different folder might help.

      Redock the turrets you have issues with, make sure they can rotate properly, then save it again as new blueprint.

      A ship that size takes its time. I suggest you look for a build server that allows you to upload your ship. That's probably the best place to find someone to help with building.

      Is this an AI problem, or do you also have the problem when you control the turrets manually? Spawn a copy of your ship, if it has the same problems, please upload the blueprint.

      In theory 91 salvagers plus 45 cannons, but with the above mentioned bug I'd guess 91 salvagers plus 30 cannons. Simply build a group of 91 salvagers and like 10-20 cannons, then add cannons until you can mine continuously.

      Testing game mechanics yourself is always better than believing what other people say. I suggest you mine for 1-2 minutes with your current setup and then the same time without the pulse slave.       In fact not even that. Just made a test. 16 S + 16 P mine 202 blocks per minute, 32 S mine 425 blocks per minute. But that is probably a bug.

      A1 - Shield regen is reduced to 12.5-25% for one minute after a hit. If the shield is nearly full it's 12.5%, if it's nearly down it's 25%. If the shields are <100%, power cost for regen is ten times as high as with full shields. So in effect combat regen consumes 1.25 - 2.5 times as much energy...

      Correct, but if the docked armor consists of doors, it can be "activated" after the mothership's shields are down.
