I would have to agree there, besides should keep in mind the reactor blocks and I think a few others also act as a kind of readout if you use them, they tell you power/power-cap, so they could be used as part of the consoles even for in depth as well as accurate roll play.

I particularly hate getting loot that you cannot sell because they don't allow it in the shops, non-repeating delays, burnt white soil or maybe it was burnt white dirt, ether way I ended up having to go off and pitching it out an air lock and running before I decadently picked it up again.

I like science fantasy ships, I would say I am drawn to those, but mainly just to look at them. When it comes to playing the game I prefer a more science fiction version ship.

Agreed, after working with this, it does appear that as long as I sit there and watch it it works fine but for what reason I do not know, if I leave the area it shuts off... possibly the area was unloaded. then it has to be turned off then back on, not a big problem the switch is on the bridge...

that can be a lag issue, you could try tab+f6 to refresh/reload

at what point are you having to wait, at starmade linkup, during server connection, at the load screen?

Yes that works, it is what I do, but its not the point, the point is beams should work but they have been restricted, while missiles have had their restrictions removed.

Missiles are very annoying especially since beams have no effect on them. I find it humorous a point beam defense has been deemed too OP, but missiles that use to burn up in my shields are now one-shot-killers. It is especially funny because most of the time they don't shoot just one. I guess...

If your doing massive building you may want to consider setting up a second system if it is an option as a server host. Memory use can get hefty here is a tutorial from Mushroom Fleet for memory settings that has a pretty good explanation of the issues of balancing client, server, and system memory.
