      Fleet Command logic

Yeah, I was thinking that maybe the inner ship logic names could correspond to commands. So you would name your remote "[recall]" and then when you activated it, it would set the "recall" mode for the fleet. In addition, any other ships that have a "[recall]" remote have that activated, so then...

      Range to Target When Overheating

Could we put the range on the info card in the top-left corner, so that way we can keep seeing the range of a target once it goes out of the front cone?

Run unloaded factories in 1 calculation.

So would it require someone to be online for the faction? And yes, I do think that having manufacturing limits is a good idea. Maybe having an option for a factory to only make things while a factory that pulls from it is active?

      Suggested Alternative Turret Docking Ideas

That doesn't help when you are constructing the ship for the first time, or refitting the turrets. Honestly, even having the ability to only place blueprints with one docker would be very helpful.

Recognized Fleet Maintenance (Repair and Resupply)

Maybe flagging each chunk when it takes damage/gets changed, and then only having to check the damaged chunks? I don't like the idea of "invisible blocks" as that means that if I do field repairs on my ship, it won't fix those once I get back to a shipyard.

Read by Schine Passive Effects on Docked entities

Okay, a related question: If a passive system doesn't affect a docked entity, why should the passive effect has an increased cost/decreased effectiveness because of the docked entity? In other words can we have the passive effects only use the mass of their own ship and not any docked entities...

Kaiserliche Marinewerften: First 300m Ship, (WIP) Deus Ex Krieg

The new windows look very nice. (I'd actually remove the leftmost bit of scaffolding, the one over the piping)

Kaiserliche Marinewerften: First 300m Ship, (WIP) Deus Ex Krieg

You don't have to do anything with the empty space, and it's okay to have a blank spot in the hull. I fact I think you might be getting a bit too cluttered.

      WiP Roosevelt Class Supercarrier

I'm thinking for the engine, bring the hull out a couple meters when you switch it from the regular grey hull to the black of the engine block. That breaks up the flat surface. Having nacelles buried into the hull would be a good idea too. Also for this: All I could think was "those divots...

      Recognized Gravity modules and logic

What about using adjacency to trigger the gravity (so the area controller next to the gravity) and using logic to control it? Would that get around the system limitations? In addition, the activation bit of the gravity module determines how it works. HIGH means add gravity to the player, LOW...

      NuclearFun's Ships

Oh, I like what you did for the hexagons on the largest ship. That's a really interesting idea.

Alright, more screenshots coming right up! First come hanger bay refits! And they are all logic'd up! Starboard small hangers. Check out the new floor! A closer look at the floor. And here they are with the doors closed. Central pod hanger, now with logic and a nice floor. Don't fall off...

Dannage Fleetyards: Poor Advice For Noobs

Honestly it doesn't look close enough to say that you copied the ship. If you want your design to look different, you should probably make the ship look less boxy from above. I'd take the tube at the stern and change the edge. Also try adding armor belts along the top and bottom so it doesn't...

      TCDF fleet page

Okay, I managed to get a bit more work done on the ship (but surprisingly few screenshots) I redid the power systems, which meant I had to rip out most of the engines to run new power lines. There are 8 power lines that run the height and length of the ship, along with half the width. I made...

      Largest ship/project

My largest ship is about 480 meters long and about 360 meters wide. I've refit it multiple times and never finished it. I do have a larger station but its mainly empty and I haven't even fleshed out the full shape yet.

      Building Beam Tool

Honestly I think that having a repair pack be worth a certain amount of HP that can be repaired would actually make them worthwhile. You could use whatever's lying around to repair your ships instead of having to deal with the exact logistics of what blocks you need to repair.

      Building Beam Tool

So like blocks? If anything, a repair pack that's more compact (storage-wise) than the blocks that made it would be a good idea. Astrotechs should still be allowed to use the blocks themselves but it would require the exact blocks needed instead of just "repair packs"

Hey, you've mentioned that the team has come up with a plan for a new faction system in a few posts now. Can you tell us anything, or are they keeping it quiet?
