If both sides completely contradict, and only one side is right, though, you end up with a totally false image as a result of allowing equal speaking time to the wrong side.
If everything a side states contradicts the other side, nothing is left, regardless of how right or wrong the side(s) are.

    Also, another entry:
"0stack" (n) plural "0stacks" pronounced "nullstack" definition: an itemstack with a size of 0. Unlike an empty stack, this one is known for the wierd effect of causing empty inventories drop items, which, if picked up, yield nothing.

    whats the difference?
A 'hardcap' is when no matter what you do, you cannot go beyond the cap. That is definately not the case with power, as you can still gain an extra 25 Eps per extra power block added. Plus you can add docked power reactors as well. There is a 'softcap' of 1M 'bonus' power that can easily be achieved by a ship.

[Name] ([Type of word]) Plural- [Plural of name]; [Definition] See: [Other references]

Build-blocking (v.); The act of using a build block to quickly remove all of the blocks from a structure. Frequently used by spies on a homebase and those looking to make a quick buck off of scrap from an abandoned station. Formerly used to get large amounts of ore from planets. See: Spies, De-factioning.

De-factioning (v.); The use of a spy to remove the faction protection of an entity, usually a homebase, to allow for the destruction or build-blocking of said entity. See: Spies, Build-blocking.
0stack (n) Plural- 0stacks; pronounced "nullstack" definition: an item stack with a size of 0 (Zero). Unlike an empty stack, it is known for the effect of empty inventories dropping items, which, if picked up, yield nothing.
Shouldn't this be in a [#] section instead?

    Hitscans.
HitScan is a general gaming term used for weapons that do not have any travel time. The game just checks where the gun is pointed when the trigger is pulled, and instantly hits. Quite a few games use it, like Warframe (Bullets have no travel time, but it creates a 'tracer' like shot that gives the illusion it does). It's one way of dealing with lag where a person might not be in the same place on both screens.

Not sure if it quite fits into a Starmade based dictionary (being a general term), and I am too lazy to do a proper entry as well.

    Okay then! Thanx.

I do think, though, that the person who came-up with "Waffle-Cannon" should get some special recognition. Makes my chuckle every time.

It'd have been somebody on oldsite, probably years ago.

"illusive age" noun Plural- [none]; the time period which most StarMade veterans experienced, and by which some may define the term "StarMade veteran". The illusive age is defined by the time in which the illusive server was the most active server regarding factions present on the forum, ever faction on the forums had to be there to be recognized by most other factions on the forums. It is also the time of the oldsite, and the faction scene was radically different than todays factions. It was also the peak of ridik_ulass' observable activities See: illusive (server), ridik_ulass, oldsite

Oldsite (n.); The previous website for Starmade news and community. This site is still accessible at oldsite.star-made.org, though only in read-only mode. If you have an account on oldsite, you can still use the chat function, as it is still online. Home to a drastically different game, community, and faction scene than the current one.

Coredrill (v): To instantly destroy a player in a vessel using the AMC or beam weapons. Typically leaves the majority of the hull intact.

Here's a term I particularly like, used frequently in The Expanse novels (and elsewhere in scifi, I'm sure):

Slag (v): To completely destroy a space-faring vessel.

It's more of instantly destroying a player in a vessel using a weapon that deals relatively low damage to the surrounding blocks, so Cannons and Beams. Missiles are good at instantly killing a player in a vessel, yes, but they also deal a ton of damage to the ship.
