UPDATE-
We have more turrets on the base.
So.
Many.
Medusas.
As it stands, this base will have more firepower than any of its predecessors upon completion. It also looks far better. (Not a cube this time)
Also, combat operations against the SWARM are winding down, as their leader and many members have (not as a result of us, mind you) left and joined other factions. That leaves one, possibly two active SWARM members. The one issue now is that we've had reports of a doomcube Linwe has created that Starfleet's 38mil damage per shot cannons could not even scratch the shields of.
Somehow we are going to have to locate and destroy that monstrosity. Without crashing our clients. Fun...
In other news, the NFD Janus class ultrasalvager is "complete" (full of gaping holes; for customization, of course.). It was also built using "legally obtained" (embezzled) money we "borrowed" (permanently) from other "respectable corporations" (drug rings and corrupt dictatorships)
But other than that, it's done. Still looks like a brick, but a damn sight prettier than the Achilles. Bigger, too.
