Uh... can your computer handle a 300k mass spacecraft?

... cause I have one of those I might like to submit.

    yep that'd be fine
Oh good. On your Twitch stream, your computer seemed to be having trouble with what I'd have classed as a frigate.

... what I want to submit is what I'd consider a cruiser.

It should be finished by tomorrow evening.

You might want to start considering your ships by the lowest common denominator - most folks don't haul around 300k mass ships on servers, much less 100k mass. It gets complaints from people who have slower PCs and also just destroys FPS and causes Server Lag in the event of a fight.

Though I really like big ships..... :(

The thing is, I measure my classes by length. They are also 1:1 models of spacecraft from my WIP webcomic.

    My classing system:
    <20m: Fighter
    20-50m: Gunship
    50-100m: Corvette
    100-200m: Frigate
    200-500m: Destroyer
    500-750m: Cruiser
    750-1000m: Battlecruiser
    1000-1250m: Battleship
    1250-1500m: Dreadnought
    1500-2000m: Titan
    >2000m: Supertitan

i used to do the same thing. I actually used that system (or something eerily similar). Thing is, noone brings anything above a destroyer anymore, and the MFleet server has a size limit of 800 to stop oversized stuff that eats CPU and RAM from low-end PCs. I dunno. I have messed around with Battleship and Dreadnought sized ships, but I've only seen a few of them built. I highly doubt anyone has built a ship over 2k meters completely as of yet lol.

    Heh.

My WIP Vesta class battlecarrier is a dreadnought on my scale IIRC. It'll be so expensive that 'll have to dock its reactors to it rather than have them built-in.

For ships that where submitted a while ago, I assume they have to be updated for the new systems and resubmitted to have a chance at being in the trailer?

So are you guys going to add some of these to the game like you did with the stations?

I hate to bring this up, but this not a very good classification system.

Any reasonably sized ship would automatically be classed as a titan because every other class is so jammed up in the <20000 mass range.

Something like the minotaur battlecruiser in the OP is a downscale version of the Starcraft Battlecruiser (which is much MUCH larger). The Starmade version is at most a light frigate.

I think a more accurate ship to represent a battlecruiser would be something like the Heldtech Damocles
