People, just create a separate starmade directory using the previous version when the chunk 16 x 16 size was still used, using that directory load starmade and enter single-player, then load the ship delete the old docking and outdated stuff and it should convert to 32 x 32 more easily.

I have the perfect solution, after like 2 min of hard work i came up with

Don't get me wrong, at the time of their creation, his older ships were top notch. The designs, the layout, the look, those are all still solid. But some of his ships are PRE-thruster update, so they are woefully underpowered when it comes to engine. Others are PRE-weapons update, so they are a bit underpowered in that department. It's more than just docking to fix, some ships will require almost complete rebuilds.

iirc Nuclear has never refit a ship of his before so technically the only old Nuclear ship that still works would be the Vector. >_>

The only ship that works well you mean. The old ones still fly and fire weaponry buuut underperform in a serious way.

EDIT: I don't mind it though, NuclearFun keeps making new ones, which is awesome.

Well, that is not true. There are a few that i converted to the new docking system and added new stuff (Manticore, Deimos, Kali, Aurora are still working). Biggest problem for me is slabs and DARK GREY HULL (the best addition ever).
Also: building new stuff is way more fun.

Ok well it's one of those cases where rebuilding it would take way longer than just updating ths systems. And I keep stuff mostly up to date so it's not that bad when I only need to make a singlw change.

On the other hand, nuclear has a design line. For the battleship style ships he's basically following his standard shape/template and upgrading it every time :P (which is more fun and engaging than refitting) . Tbh I'd do that too if building charon didn't consume so much of my play time.

I don't mind retrofitting his ships, course if I do Upload to SMD Content page, I'd ask permission from NF 1st.

Should wait until the power update comes. Since you're going to be gutting the ships, practically, may as well wait so that you can put in the proper reactors.

Well the upper one in the front is hard to tell because it's flush with the rest of the hull.

After more than half a year of not doing anything here...

The bigger ship in the background actually has some systems (new power... still think the worm is ugly)

Now the wait begins for the weapon update...
