I like the details, and the engines on rails
but dont you think its a bit small? :p only 170 mass with rails
Small? I thought this was a fighter competition not a corvette competition.
I could make it heavier but that would slow it down. and the size is fine, mass doesnt matter

I guess so,dont get me wrong,I did the same(ish) thing with my fighter where I stopped at 220 mass [270 mass with rails]. Just saying everyone else will go for full 300 mass that can support bigger weapons&shields

well this competition is mostly about the aesthetics and the balancing of offence and defence. Size doesnt really matter.

I wanted to join this contest as my little personal comeback to the Starmade after year long pause. All these entries are jawdropping and pumped me up to do something for myself. But I found out that making moving parts makes my head really hurt. So I gave up. Goddamnit, am I really that stupid?

Then Dont do Logic, keep the moving parts simple believe me my entry will be my first go at anything more than slidey doors. Dont let Logic stop you from making an awesome ship thats great apart from the moving parts. TLDR: Dont Let your Dreams be Dreams, JUST DO IT

You're not stupid just start small and work up. Everyone else in here did that. Make a small door first and don't expect to learn it quickly.

or simple landing gear that just goes down two blocks or smth. Also maybe take a look at other ships like the Toad from this contest wich has some simple moving parts (Cockpit) and a little trickier Landing gear, Just take it easy and dont bite of more than you can chew.

Don't care about the moving thing.

I didn't even begin mine and I just have 2 days but anyway I'll submit a fucking ship, even noob cube (yeh cause me too I'm a true rebel. :P ) if it's need. That's just for fun.

Don't be afraid to leave it simple. Sometimes simple is more reliable.

Edit: I'll agree that there is a bewildering amount of awesome fighters here.

Quick question: When is the exact deadline? It'd be great if it was sunday 23:59 US time or something like that, please tell if you know :)
