Out of interest, where does the core get placed in a station to ship conversion, is it defined? (what i really want to know is if I can use this as a round-about way of moving my core without copy pasta-ing. I got a lot of docked entities (doors etc) I would like to avoid re docking if at all possible)

I may have misunderstood how this works entirely :/
I'm almost certain that the core is placed where ever the Nav icon is, so you can't quite move it like that I dont think.

This tool does not add or remove any blocks, this one from the link in the OP does.

Okay, thanks Mega. I presume that I could still not use these two tools (and a fair amount of fiddling) to move the core... can I? (I think I know the answer :( )

Run the file from the terminal and send me whatever it outputs. I can fix it then.

    bug. (google translate)

after conversion station having factories in the ship, all the factories remain and continue to work if they do not break or rearrange. game mechanics forbids to put the plants on ships.

после конвертирования чертежа станции, имеющей заводы, в корабль, в нем сохраняются все заводы и продолжают работать, если не переставлять их и не ломать. игровая механика запрещает ставить заводы на корабли.

True, but I won't fix it, as it requires checking and changing much more data.
    I call it a feature :P

Do you want to build a station based on an asteroid you came across?
Do you have a ship, that would also look good as a station?
Do you have a station, that would be a nice ship?
Or do you just want to mess with starmade?

If you answered any of the above questions with 'yes', then I have the right tool for you.
    I present you, my Blueprint-type Converter: Blueprinttype-Converter
If you encounter errors, please notify me about them.

    • Java 7 or higher

    1. At first you run the file you downloaded.
    2. A window should request you to choose a file.
    3. Select the blueprints you want to convert(both *.sment and directories are accepted)[originals are left untouched]
    4. Now enter what kind of entity you want to convert the blueprint into.
    5. When the conversion is finished, a window pops up to notify you about it.

A tool that works great in combination: BlueprintCoreManipulator

If you have questions about it, ask them here.
If you have suggestions for it, suggest them here.
If you want to rate or comment on it, do it there.
Both of your tools have stopped working. It could have something to do with chunk size increasing from 16x16x16 to 32x32x32.
