Type-57 "Phantom" Dropship

    Type-57 "Phantom" Dropship Release

    Game version
    v0.201.378
Been on this kick of late where I have wanted to make lots of Covenant ships from the Halo Universe; it's been a ton of fun. Yes, I know this ship isn't Covenant, it's Sangheili. Either way, the alien design of their ships are challenging and rewarding to create, and I hope that anyone who downloads this enjoys it as much as I enjoyed creating it. Without further adieu,

Enter the Type-57 Phantom from Halo 5

Stepped up my game on this one, now the ship has water to act as a force-field to hold in atmosphere.

    Stats

    Features:
    • Retractable nose-mounted plasma cannon (just for looks)
    • Functional Troop Ramps (Left/Right)
    • Toggle-able engines and lights to match.
    • Entity-based gravity lift logic and aesthetics
    • Docks for 4x Ghosts
    • Lockout logic for the 4 docks to prevent accidental pickups
    • Automatic logic for the aft docking area with auto gravity
    • Backup-cam for the rear-facing dock
    • Packed with other misc logic for lighting, based on various logic states of the ship
    • Logic is one thing I love putting into ships to bring them to life, but the nature of logic is if you toggle things fast, it will break.
    • All of the logic for the ship was tested on my build server and had no issues with timing or clipping, however, logic is bizarre so if any issues are encountered let me know and I can try to address it.
    • The troop doors were interesting to get to work properly. After much testing I had to build the circuit EXACTLY as it is now for them to function properly. If the circuit was built the same but in a different pattern, the timing would be off for some reason. (Logic Gremlins, I know it >.>)
    • Credits: if you can find source material for the ship online, so can I.
This is definitely one design that I am quite proud of. It took a LOT of work to get the design right. I had a lot of fun making the ship and the Logic to help bring the ship to life. Very excited to share her with everyone and if you enjoy it, please leave a review so others can too!
