Allow me to introduce my first stargate, The "StellarWind" warp station, a marvel of technology bridging the vast, cold and unforgiving interstellar vacuums between the solar systems of your interest.
I actually built most of this station in 3 days in early November (2016), and finalized it with the addition of its turret arsenal in December, but I chose to get 20 of my ships out of the way and up on the Dock first before sharing this with the public. I wanted to upload this only when I have another station to join it right after.
(You can check that here, it's a big shipyard with tons of roleplay elements:
MEGA PROJECT: The "PetroFlux H56" Refueling & Repair Station)

Have fun with it and share your opinion!

MEGA PROJECT: The "PetroFlux H56" Refueling & Repair Station)
Features:
- 2 very nicely constructed warp rings, each with an inner diameter of 151 meters (both are fitted with warp modules, but only one is wired to a computer - you can easily connect them up to experiment with making this thing direction-sensitive, I myself didn't try that out yet);
- 6 make-believe wormhole generators that are just a joy to look at;
- 2 heavy rapid-fire cannon turrets;
- 2 heavy lock-on missile turrets;
- 8 compact AMS turrets;
- Probably enough power capacity to warp a whole fleet of frigates/destroyers, one right after the other;
- Probably enough shield capacity, shield recharging and defensive/offensive firepower to withstand the attack of a whole fleet of decent corvettes;
- Hi-tech USD airlocks with working pressure gauges;
- A neat little control room;
- Coffee machines, etc.
Have fun with it and share your opinion!
So I wouldn't really recommend this warpgate for practical purposes. Unless you're very efficient in refitting StarMade structures. If that's the case, than go for it, and thanks for the 5 stars :)
