    The Spearhead-class assault frigate was built with only one goal in mind: massive sustained damage. Built around a huge (for its size) experimental rapidfire railgun array, the vessel offers firepower very rarely seen in its weight class. This unfortunately comes with the drawback of a quite spartan interior, with very limited space left for the crew, despite the best efforts of the designer. Fortunately, the ship doesn't require a large crew to safely operate, in fact, it gets away with less than the smaller Archer-class . The most space is taken by the main gun, which required the installation of 4 auxiliary power chambers in protective casing, synced through conduits for best power output, just to allowe moving while firing. To give some long-range capability, one spinal mounted quad long-range missile launcher and 2 vertical long-range batteries were installed, the later launch 8 missiles each per volley.
    The Spearhead doesn't only surpass the Archer in firepower, but she also offers more protection in the form of a 1.8M capacity shielding with 60% Ion reinforcement. 8 autocannon turrets and a pair of small ion beam turrets make sure that the ship can deal with a larger number of small fighters or drones, and 6 AMS turrets deal with incoming missiles. The enhanced drives offer a 1.4 thrust/mass ratio that surpasses the Archer-class, allowing the vessel to catch up to its prey to bring its main cannons to bear.

    Yes I did. I constructed it for the Blood and Steel event Season 2, during which I personally piloted it and only got defeated in the 2nd round, by Napther. Ask Raiben, Dalmont, Saber, Napther, or really anyone who's been there that day watching on Twitch or partaking in the event.
