Serapis Corvette

    Serapis Corvette A1R4

    Hi!

This is the mining ship Serapis.

    a medium sized asteroid eater

while equipped with 3 turrets (2 light missile and 1 light beam) the best defensive action would be to run (50% Overdrive and 1.6 thrust/mass ration help a little bit with that, if that is not working there is still one escape pod)

Good performance, good looks, easy and enjoyable to operate and own. All around exactly what I like to see on the Docks.
I like the shape and most everything about the ship, its pretty cool. However, it doesn't have a PVP or Roleplay tag on it so I can't give it top marks.

If it was PVP tagged, boom, 5 stars, it is a bulky useful and effective ship for its job with an interior that does not detract from it too much because it is large enough to have one without much detriment to its ability.

Though it isn't PVP tagged, so I have to look at it with a wider view. My suspense of disbelief is destroyed by the asymmetric command section, I can only see this things tumbling uncontrollably through space because it has no balancing engines. The interior would be a problem as well, there is way too little for RP purposes. What is there is good though.

My ships will not get forced into a arbitrary binary role! :-P
Great job - thank you for sharing!

Functional and eye-pleasing at the same time - there are not many mining frigates on the Starmade Dock that combine these attributes. The ship provides all the neccessary features for extended mining operations. I could not test it in combat so far, it seems that the ship is fast and hardened enough to safely escape most pirate ambushes.

The interior could probably need some rework. While the hull features a wonderful balance of details and clean surfaces, the rooms inside seem to miss the same commitment to clearness and integrity.

Nevertheless, this is an awesome build, keep up the excellency! :)
This is a great ship In its own right due to its speed, responsiveness and feature set in a relatively small package. But its true magnificence lies in its masterful use of slabs. This ship shall be a benchmark for future slab use going forward.
