Hello, its been a while since I've not only played StarMade, but posted any content.
Regardless I give you the Protector Class, one of my personal designs in my Sci-Fi future for humanity.
This is the second version of the ship as the first was lost with all of my data some years ago, so I remade the design and I may say it came out even better.
Ive made it to be as realistic as reasonably possible for Starmade. One compromise is instead of making the interior vertical like I wanted, I just gave up and did normal horizontal layouts. This shows mostly in the largest walkable module. Another would likely be armament. Starmade favors bigger things in general so I tried to pack as much firepower, systems and etc. as I could in its small size in order to ensure it can stand up to anything.
That said, the ship is probably more suited to roleplay, but is perfectly functional within Starmade.
Specifications-
138m Long
100,100 Shield HP
x26 Missile Tubes - 20 Missile Capacity
x3 CWIS Point Defense Turrets
x4 RSM Missile Turrets
x1 120mm Railgun
x3 TOS-2's (Trans Orbital Shuttles)
x1 Capsule Pod
51 Crew (39 Assigned Crew, 12 Marine Detachment)
Last note I made this ship using the hull of the USM Valor. Honestly suprised how it turned out.

The Protector Class (SPV) of Destroyers were the first ships to ever touch the stars in a military capacity. Designed and produced shortly after the formation of the U.S.S.C. (United States Space Core) The Core needed ships to fulfill its objectives, fighters and small shuttles would no longer do. The first generation Protector launched on March 21st 2073, The Aegis. The ships objectives were to maintain order, enforce Laws and National treaties, and help any and all in need. The Aegis alone in a relatively vast expanse could only do so much until its sister ships were launched from the shipyard, even still the Aegis managed to stop many crimes, and provide assistance to many organizations around the orbit of Earth.
By the second Generation, a reputation of being the most deadly thing amongst the stars had been established. Small and fast, second generation ships were known to sneak up on any and all who dared defy treaties and laws in space. This Generation of ships was also able to carry up to three additional craft and a combat detachment all own its own. Making it a force to be reckoned with. It was also one of the first few ships to try out artificial gravity in its later stages. Launched on August 8th 2112 this is the generation that almost every future military ship is based upon. Mostly due to its ability to assume multiple roles. It was able to complete any mission given, contained an arsenal fit for a Light Carrier, and the ability to rapidly deploy combat teams anywhere. The generation stayed in service for so long Captains were given the 'Ok' to retrofit and modify their own ships. Making each one unique and different. By 2167 Protectors were still the only ship in the U.S.S.C.'s arsenal, however still a powerful force amongst the stars, numbering at about 57 ships. The second generation lasted for 105 years.
Protectors weren't initially designed to go further than the moon, but by the the end of the second generation protectors were making standard runs to Venus and back.
