    A somewhat stylish small attack ship, optimized for maximum possible attack, defense & maneuverability.
    It is best suited as starter fighter, a formidable fighter in larger fleets, attack drone, defense drone (on stations, on exploration missions or protecting mining fleets).



    If you want to start your game by exploring around the galaxy & gathering resources by combat instead of mining - Nucleous is for you! It was designed at unender works with efficiency in mind, crammed full of offensive, defensive & mobility systems. Featuring small through corridor and a cozy command nook right at the center of the ship, with all the computers at arm's length. Showing off a designer hull & compact spherical shape - Nucleous might not be a 100% hardcore efficiency cube, it is as close to that as possible for anyone who prefers to fly with some style.





    Nucleous was designed as very agile survival fighter with one main streamlined weapon. As is, it is able to survive encounter with almost any standard Isanth pirate fighter EXCEPT missile bombers (i.e. Grizzly Bomber). Nucleous can singlehandedly overpower several fighters, taking care not to take multiple missile hits from missile bombers. For times of danger - speed and maneuverability come in very handy.




    An experienced pilot may be able to avoid being hit by missiles and destroy a squadron of enemy fighters without loosing shields, and with good strategy and dedication even disable a pirate station.



    At the heart of Nucleous is an efficient, yet relatively unobtrusive powerplant Efficient small scalable Power Recharger consisting of 12 groups of reactors, each reaching all 6 sides of the ship. It allows for weapons to span the ship from back to front. This powerplant provides enough power generation to have radar jammer on, fire continuously & applying full thrust during entire battle!

    All power capacity blocks are grouped into 1 cluster - providing additional power buffer for the times of extreme combat. This means, that:
    •while performing hard maneuvers &
    •taking on continuous fire to the shields
    •with radar jammer on

    you will only ever need to let go of that continuous fire button!



    Combined with great acceleration & fast turning capabilities - you will be able to always keep that beam on the enemy from start to their inevitable demise, taking them out one by one.



    At each side entrance is a thick door clad in armor grade forcefield. An additional feature of Nucleous is a automatic gravity system that will turn on and off as you pass through either entrance.

    one of the best cc ships of its mass range. very well built and decent looking too. could add some versatility to the guns, or double the dps, without compromising anything. would also add 1-2 low profile AMTs.

    Not my particular choice of main gun (annoying to hold down for long periods of time) but effective. easily defeated the 12k mass typhon pvp ship with this without taking any damage.

    I am totally planning on adding exactly 2 super basic AMTs (top & bottom) :)
    About doubling dps without any compromise - I'll totally explore the options (different weapon, more outputs, not sure - but Thank You for the hint!)
    Was also planning on adding defensive Ion :)
