    Efficient Scalable Unobtrusive* Powerplant unender works

    {almost fully efficient \ fully scalable in any & all dimensions (unlike "reactor blocks") \ unobtrusive to full back-to-front weapons set-ups \ 3 (x y z) 3*3 corridors right through the center \ enough passages through to allow connecting systems on all sides of the ship into 1 group}

    E The 1st design consideration of this powerplant was Efficiency! at 311.31 recharge/sec per block.

    S The 2nd : compact center area - i.e. The Knot - to allow fitting in ships as small as 25*25*25 (such as Nucleous ) - yet Scalable to any size in any dimension. The 6 Arms containing all 12 groups are scalable in efficient manner.

    U The 3rd : Unobtrusiveness
    a) provide 3 (x y z) passages through the center (3*3 wide) for limited interior design and system connections;
    b) provide many straight (not counting the corridors) passages (mostly 1x1 wide) to allow complete shipwise front-to-back weapon lines;
    c) additionally provide straight & meandering passages in all directions, to allow for various system connections, especially when it is preferable to have those systems in 1 group.

    Enjoy :)

    good stuff - i have a 100,000 'starter core' that demonstrates idea of crossing and folding XYZ reactor into compact central spaces, so that lines can be extended as required in simple/predictable directional lines from 'spaghetti' center... building a decent XYZ power system backbone, and then fitting the hull is in my opinion the best way to build.

    Yep - I've been building ships around power rechargers. Hopefully I'll prepare the presentation for my 6-layer 24 group layout soon :) CheerZ
    that is really good and usefull system great job.
