The Kral Class Carrier was originally designed as a Cruiser/pocket battleship. In the Early days of the KNS-Corporation it provided unmatched firepower and survivability. However, as the years passed and better technology, designs and doctrines came about the Kral was deemed obsolete in favor of the Konig Class light cruiser. Of the hundreds of warships condemned to the scrapyards only a handful remain today. When the Galactic Union launched its brutal surprise attack on the KNS home world, destroying the atmosphere and most of the KNS fleet in the process the KNS was left weakened and borderline defenseless. The remaining Krals were pulled from mothball status and quickly converted into a makeshift carrier. These old ships will once again defend the interest of the KNS and is allies.
The Carrier Carries a complement of 2 wings of 3 MiG-71 fighters as well as 2 wings of 4 Puma class drones.
After the Galactic Union launched its unprovoked surprise attack, a group of corporations met and decided to enter open rebellion against the GU. This would become known as the Confederation of Corporations and is currently the only threat to the tyranny of the Galactic Union. The CoC is Heavily outnumbered and outgunned and has decided to enact a drone swarm doctrine to level the playing field. Therefore, all CoC ships have the ability to operate as a drone carrier in the hopes of overwhelming the superior GU.
Disclaimer - This ship is over 5 years old before conversion, it might have a few bugs as well as small issues throughout it. This ship was also designed to operate on my family's server and was built to abide by the custom set of rules we put into place. Therefore, it may or may not stand up to the other ships on here.
