    Hi!

    The Kali Marauder is all about besieging pirate stations and military salvage operations.


    It is very much inspired by the marauders from EvE-Online, featuring long range tractor beams and a medium salvage array while also carrying heavy turrets and weapon systems.



    There is a small interior with one docked escape pod.

    I simply don't have the words to describe this beast. This is a magnificent work of art. I'll try my best to review it, so please excuse my bad reviewing skills
    Pros
    Exterior
    The exterior detail is amazing. Even if you desire to simply just fly manually around the ship, you will still find the tiniest amount of flawless detail. Very good use of slabs. But the best part is the main shape. The shape is so astronomical strange. But in a good way. It is simply strange but beautiful.
    Systems
    This is probably the thing that defines this ship. Never ever have I seen middles do so much damage. The cannon simply destroys a Isganth in seconds. But the nukes are a total game changer. Just aim for a faction block anywhere in the station,and you just took out a massive pirate station. The shield never ever go under 99.1%. But the main complaint i have is the speed. It isn't fast, the top speed is barely 120. I did change all the jump inhibitors to power auxiliary. Which still keeps the nice outside look will being useful when shooting both nukes and heat seekers.
    Cons
    Interior
    Although the shape of the ship is spectacular, the interior isn't. It is so grey that it hurt my eyes while walking inside(I don't wear glasses). So I just changed everything except the layout. I changed everything to a black and orange theme taken from the Deimos. I added a transporter room, a prison cell and a captain suite.
    Shuttle
    The shuttle is by far the ugliest thing you've ever made. It is a big massive “thing”. So I swapped it for the Deimos shuttle. Which looks a lot better and is a bit faster with modifications.

    Verdict
    This is one of the best ships in starmade. It is beautiful and powerful. I am quite speechless even after spending at least 10 hours on this ship. Just, just download it. It will make you feel as if you're on top of the world. This is by far, my favorite ship in Starmade. And is the most absurd ship you've ever made.

    a great military salvager for solo and fleet actions in mid and late game. the height makes it seem massive and imposing and the weapons make quick work of even custom pirates and stations. i love the backup backup jump drive.
    things i've added, please feel free to use anything interesting:
    autofire logic clocks with on/off toggles to the heatseeker array and salvager array. recommend turning off beams in gfx options when using auto salvager.
    turned the heatseeker array sideways and in half so they fire out the left and right side of the ship and into live pirates instead of straight forward and into the wreck being salvaged.
    horizontal glass door gangplanks extending from the outer doors to the current edge formed by the observation decks. they are activated from the bridge and lit with green toggled lights embedded in the ship armor.
    the ship is mobile enough that I've stripped the tractor beams and replaced them with shield rechargers.
    Replaced the advanced armor on the PD turrets with standard because they die frequently. They can save you from nukes which is great so I only use them when I fight players; usually I keep them in complete bp form in the bridge storage for semi-quick deployment. I've considered trying to increase the shielding but I think I'll need to rework the PD docks to make it viable. The missile and sniper turrets are excellent, I use them constantly.
    Replaced the escape pod with a smaller shuttle-type without white advanced - it is close enough to the outer walls that it takes damage from missile explosions against the main ship hull and dies in long firefights with big missiles (see PD turrets dying above).
    I'm considering replacing the escapepod/shuttle vehicle with a shield supply drone.
    expanded windows and added light switches for all lights in observation decks for awesome battle viewing.
