Hydra-Greek Mythology
The Great Multi-Headed Serpent of Lake Lerna. It possessed the ability to instantly spawn more heads if one were cut off thus creating an even greater threat to any who would dare face it.
The Hydra has laid dormant for far too long. Using Schemadyne's Rail tech we've managed to completely redesign it with even more power to spare.
The Hydra is now an incredibly powerful missile turret. Its focus has been shifted away from attacking multiple targets to concentrating on hitting one or just a few. The Heavy target Lock Missiles have been upgraded to become more powerful and travel just as far. The Flak Missiles have been replaced with smaller light missiles that may not hit as hard but can be fired much faster. To round things off we've swapped out the Shredder Arrays for a pair of Photon Beam Cannons so the Hydra can still fight when its reloading both of its missiles.
