GS-91-1000-STANDARD

    GS-91-1000-STANDARD 2016-09-12

This is Gascor GasWerk's first vessel larger than a fighter. She is, when unloaded, a modestly fast and maneuverable cargo ship. With two fully loaded 25m containers, she wallows like a pig in mud, but hey, small cargo vessel.

She has a jumpdrive, room for three crew if they hotbunk, a small head and shower, and a teleporter station. The two cargo containers can hold up to 41k cargo each, have a small amount of power and thrusters, and a small teleport station as well.

The GS-91-1000-STANDARD has no offensive weaponry, however she is outfitted with alterintel's excellent low-profile turrets. Found here: How to make a Very Low Profile (Sexy) Anti-Missile Turret.

For an added defensive measure, the ship is outfitted with a radar jammer. Should give captains ample time to fire up the jump drive for a fast escape.

The docking clamps are conveniently located on the systems hotbar, numbers 7, 8 and 9 corresponding to the port, bow and starboard docking clamps.

    Nose on, unloaded.

    Bridge.

Crew quarter. That's right, so cramped, it doesn't qualify as 'quarters'. Forward is the bridge, up leads to the walkway which gives access to the rear sections, and to the left is the closet-for-a-head.

A version of the ship without cargo containers can be found here: GS-91-1000-STANDARD.

The modular design is very cool and the ship seems easily repairable due to simple design although the speed isn't the greatest.

Thank you for your review. It is a slow-ish vessel, but the ship is easy to upgrade. The ring has space for more jump drive modules, more power, and a fourth engine could fit underneath the first three.
Gonna rate this 4. I really like the overall design, no-nonsense approach (slim hull designed to be operated with cargo pods) and those cargo pods itself are creating a standard already. Minimalism and simplicity are a advantages on this one. Jump drive is way too slow though, and thrusters will leave wanting. Armor choice feels good, mass enchancers cleverly built in. Even with it's flaws this one is among the best cargo ships in Starmade universe.

Thank you for your review. It does have a slow jump drive, and this is going to be addressed in an update in the near future. Even the sub-light drives can be improved upon.

    Thanks again!
Definitely needs more detailing and more various containers

Thank you for your review. There are other container and modules in the works. However I'm one of those who prefer a minimalist approach then it comes to detailing.

There's plenty of canvas to work with if you want to add your own detailing.
