DRONE - Salus Class Rapid Response

Salus Class RRD (Rapid Response Drone) has been issued as a fleet of 10 drones as the standard civilian defense drone for Port Vandermier, and operates both as a security detail as well as the port's local police authority.
The Salus Class RRD is equipped with four rapid-fire forward facing auto-cannons that pack quite a punch for their size, while having enough power to fire the cannons for extended periods of time before taking a very brief pause to recharge power cells.
The shield system on Salus is cutting edge technology, both highly absorbant and rapid to recover from being knocked out. Heavy armour protects all sides (including the rear cowlings between thrusters) from damage if the shields are temporarily knocked out, and the high manuevability of the craft ensure that evasive action can further the survivability of this inexpensive, effective little drone.
An aft downward facing docking point just in front of a blast-doored access port to the core and cockpit ensure that this vessel can be readily racked and quickly manned as part of a security, mercenary or privateer operation, and rearward communication arrays allow long-range deployment.
