Much improved versions of these ships are incoming.

      Updates:

24-6-2013: I updated Infinity's screenshots to show the progress made before the timeout.

22-6-2013: Infinity is on hold for the moment unfortunately due to some lag issues, I will continue working on it but at some later date, but for now I'm overhauling the existing ships and will start building on the Cradle, Cairo and some covenant ships.

      Infinity Progress:

I started working on a 5:1 1200m replica of the UNSC Infinity recently after getting involved in a frustrating gigantism arguement and giving in to peer pressure. ^^

      Here's the progress reports:

Phase 1: Build forward armor plate.

      https://www.dropbox.com/sh/aq7z2r8duwquw36/XuIM0SHJNV

Phase 2: Extend armor plating to forward central section.

      https://www.dropbox.com/sh/eh8v1efnrfvbqcp/j--69dbiKE

Phase 3: Start on some of the forward fleshy parts of the ship leading down to the hangar bay plating.

      https://www.dropbox.com/sh/q5mfl2fy2k674ux/Jf93b2ulJh

Phase 4: It's been a while since I updated this, so here are a bunch of pics from the work done over the recent period of time.

And that's kinda where I'm at, more to come soon!

      Original Post:

      Hey there!

Last week I decided to give starmade another try after skipping over it a couple months ago, and man... I wish I would have tried it in the first place back then, it's amazing!. So I decided to start working on some ships from the Halo universe, since reading all the books a couple years ago I've absolutely loved the Halo lore, and my dreamgame would probably be a crossover between EVE and the Halo universe. But, since that ain't gonna happen anytime soon I'll settle for the next best thing: Starmade!

      Here's the result so far:

      - "Halcyon" Class light cruiser (Refit for ONI Sec1 tactical operations)

Weighing in at 5.700 tons the "Halcyon" class might not be the most powerfull ship in its weight-class, but in the hands of an experienced navy commander and it can take, and deal, a staggering amount of punishment before going down.

      Pics: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/e79k20xv7nan1cl/jCXYtmqWOz

      Specifications:

      ThrustToWeight Ratio: 1.198 - 5.700 = 1.198

      Reactor: 2.796.000 - 78.513/sec

Hangar: 3 9x9x9 Interior Docking Bays

      Shields: 24 blocks

      Weapon Systems: 50x(5)SD-BB, 18x(7)SD-BB, 22x(3)SD-KB, 2x(26)AMCannon, 1x(72)D1000

      Turrets: 3x(16)AMCannon AI-Controlled

      Cost: 13.6mil

      - "Atlas" Class patrol frigate

Weighing a moderate 1.228 tons the "Atlas" class is a nimble warship usually deployed in two's or three's capable of wreaking havok on any target foolish enough to get in its main cannon's sights, Its massively oversized Archer missile pods also tend to poke holes in Covy ships once shields are a fading memory...

      Pics: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/al9eyqkydd6uef9/Cu3EzYVJbf

      ThrustToWeight Ratio: 9.46 - 1.228 = 946

      Reactor: 1.077.000 - 109.176/sec

      Hangar: 2 7x7x7 Docking Bays

      Shields: 42 blocks

      Weapon Systems: 4x(26)SD-BB, 4x(26)SD-KB, 1x(44)AMCannon, 1x(122)D1000

      Cost: 3,4mil

      - "Pelican" and "Spirit" Dropships

Dominating the skies over a planet does not guarantee your conquest of it, fierce groundside battles can rage on for months and the only thing to keep them going are these ships, argueable the most important vessels on both sides, no army can function without its vital supplylines.

      Pics: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/oie93y2bqgju7ew/p3V_GA9bOJ

      Pelican: (4)Shield, (18)AMCannon,2x(12)SD-BB

      Spirit: (6)Shield, (26)AMCannon

A little Size comparison of all the ships:

      https://www.dropbox.com/s/anbpm2vip6lt565/StarmadeSizeComparison.jpg

And finally I just started laying out the frame for a "Cradle" refit & repair platform, it's going to be massive (I plan on having it be able to dock at least 4, probably 6, frigates at a time):

      https://www.dropbox.com/s/jamw5v6zhzufab2/CradleFramework.jpg

      CHANGE OF PLANS:

I somehow promised to build a 5:1 scale UNSC Infinity of approximately 1300m long, so... yeah... that's what I'll be doing the next couple weeks, cradle's on hold for the time being.

And that's all for now, I hope you all liked it and let me know what you think!

      Fight well and fly safe!

P.S: I'm not sure on how to accurately measure shields, so I just used the amount of blocks.

Excellent work! I fear that I might not have enough spare time to keep up with all the improvements and new people coming into the shipwright scene.

Oh well, I\'ll stick with building doomsday machines. Kudos to you for making arguably the best looking ships yet!

Do you think you could upload the blueprints for them (the catalog save)?
