I would like to open this thread for ideas on how to improve visual effects of weapons and systems.
My ideas are:
1. Create a large explosion effect for missiles so that instead of hull blocks just disappearing we can see fire with bigger missiles instead of only missile tails.
2. For Beam weapons, make the beam thicker as the main weapon gets more powerful, making it look more powerful. Also have a better effect for the output end directly coming out of the block like a tapered cone when firing (kind of like the AMC block flashing effect, only with increased length).
3. Same as beam weapons for AMC with bigger bullets
4. Longer Thruster plumes showing only when no block is directly behind the thruster block, maybe some contrails?
