Ok, I dislike the new block system as it is now. I have a couple suggestions to make it better.

We have the old blocks still being listed which makes for a number of clicks or mouse rolls. Just add the multi-block button and get rid of all the other shapes listed over the scroll bar, OR get rid of the new multi-block button and add the slabs into the list over the scroll bar. Simpler than two systems fighting over the same space IMO. (Yes, I know people asked for both, it's ridiculous)

Also, right clicking a block from the rotary menu only stickies that block until you change scroll bar positions, then you have to re-sticky it. Make the sticky-ing of blocks persistent at least. IE: I have a slab on scroll bar slot one, I press two to use a full different block, I press one to go back to my slab and have to re-sticky it. This is super annoying. A stickied block that doesnt stay stickied is worthless.

Everything else is nice, love the new grate and lightbar(and toggle-ability of light bars).
Stickied blocks stay stickied for me when doing exactly what you just described. As you have indeed stickied them with RMB, I assume this is a bug. I have yet to resticky a single block more than once unless I switch worlds, servers or versions of the game.

I cannot get slabs at all now. Can we please revert that? I stopped building because of this. Super frustrating.

Edit: Ok I figured it out. I still hate it.

Symmetry Mode (at least the third one) has issues with the corner lightbars. It gets their orientation all wrong.

Game crashes when you dock a ship to a station and then press the down arrow to enter the build block on the station. It happened and now I cant get into the world I have currently been building in. just a heads up

Ok, that wouldn't surprise me with all the trouble I've been having with the game lately. And this is even on a clean install.

Edit: This is my punishment for somehow avoiding a lot of the bugs that got a lot of other people through the course of development. I'm sure it will all clear up in future updates, keep up the hard work.

I did and it works, but the default values in the linux dedicated script are not enough to do the updates so that tells me there's a testing problem. Either they aren't using the script or there's a memory leak/process holding too long.

When you setup an automated update process, it's pretty annoying to have to manually keep tabs on what gets updated. I assumed the startup script would be safe to edit (as I've previously edited these values I'm sure...) but it looks as though it's getting reset with each update.

Also, peaking at the Windows vs Linux script, it appears as though someone hasn't kept the Linux script up to date.

With this update, does it open up the future possibility of the 22.5 angle wedge slab varients

Love this update! Especially the block hotbar and sticky radial menu feature. And the new blocks are awesome!:)

I'd love to have the sticky hotbar applied to fleets please. (y)

    Check out my chair experiments.
I did a little retrofit to the Traders cargo transport.
